MLA gives major importance to the process of bringing new regional, global and local lists on to the international list rental market. The company employs two
experienced list researchers and three assistants who are focused entirely
on acquiring new lists and updating existing lists.
MLA has a very cautious attitude towards new lists since, in its experience,
the majority of new lists generate disappointing results. Research is being
continually undertaken to uncover those new lists which work. Existing clients
with whom MLA works most closely, are the first to benefit from the company's
search for and discovery of good, new lists.
We believe there may be a future for permission based email address lists
which are very targeted to individuals with special interests who have clearly
expressed their willingness to receive information on those special interests.
We also believe that some international email address listowners are, and
will continue to be, willing from time-to-time to introduce partner's offers
(which they deem valuable) to their customers and prospects in an open and
transparent way. This can be done on a reciprocal basis.
MLA has less confidence in "horizontal" email address lists which
have been harvested through free sweepstakes offers and other incentives.
These are not buyers.
